Under the new CLP regulations 2015, Diesel & Gas Oil has been reclassified as a flammable liquid in the U.K and is now covered by DSEAR The Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2002. All our fuel dispensing pumps are now ATEX certified to comply with the new regulations.
There are a number of products that now meet the criteria for classification as flammable which did not do so before in the new EU CPL Regulations. This is partly because the upper flash point for classification as a flammable liquid has been increased from 55 °C to 60 °C. The changes mean that for example, diesel, gas oil and light heating oils are now classified as flammable liquids. However, many substances classified may not normally present a significant risk of fire when stored. Businesses should adopt a proportionate approach in considering whether there are any justifiable further measures needed when assessing there current systems.
The range of Alpha, Merridale, Petrotec and C-Series fuel dispensing pumps, we offer have their frames and panels constructed from stainless steel, offering full protection from there environment which provides a long lasting life in the harshest of conditions. We offer various options with fuel transfer pump flow rates up to 180 LPM, options for integrated fuel management systems & diesel or petrol pumps which suits a number of industries including:
Retail, Marine, Aviation, Rail & Commercial Fuel Pumps
