Fuel Tank NDT (Non Destructive Testing)

NDT Fuel Storage Tanks

Fuel Storage Systems perform internal ultrasonic gauging surveys including a visual inspection on Fuel Storage Tanks. To carry out our Fuel Tank NDT we use a Digital Wall Thickness Gauge, the results are then recorded and are shown within a full site report.

NDT Fuel Tank Testing

  • Our Fuel Tank NDT surveys are undertaken in accordance with the specification shown in BS EN ISO16809:2019 (Non Destructive Testing – Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement).
  • The acceptance specifications given are: Report Findings. All results are given for the client’s own evaluation. All recommendations given within the report are advisory and may not reflect the condition or status of any items examined after the time of completion of the inspection.
  • All ultrasonic thickness readings within our report are shown in millimetres.
